Cobh Youth Services Ltd is a charitable organisation managed by a Board of Directors dedicated to providing a high quality service to all children and young people to empower them to reach their full potential.

Cobh Youth Services Ltd was founded in 1992 by a group of local people represented by local businesses, the Clergy and concerned parents who felt at the time that the young people of Cobh had none or very little resources available to them at that time.

The Youth Centre “The Plateau” was established, and the main aim was to provide the young people of Cobh aged 7-25years their own space, a place they could call their own and where they could come together in a safe and friendly environment. The Youth Service has since moved premises and is currently operating at 16 Midleton St, Cobh.

Since moving to Midleton St the Board of Directors, staff and volunteers worked tirelessly to fundraise and are now proud to announce the opening of a newly renovated building.

Also a special mention to the Youth Committee who worked really hard to ensure that the Youth Café would offer everything that a young person would need to chill out. Without their opinions and suggestions it would not have happened.
